What is ComfyUI Impact Pack?

The most-installed node pack on the Comfy Registry. Adds detection (YOLOv8), SAM segmentation, MaskDetailer, FaceDetailer, regional prompting, and the Impact Wildcards system for prompt randomisation. If you've seen a ComfyUI workflow that fixes faces or hands automatically, it's almost certainly using Impact's detailer nodes.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • FaceDetailer / MaskDetailer fix the two most common SD failure modes
  • YOLOv8 + SAM segmentation in one pack — no separate installs
  • Wildcards system for prompt randomisation is excellent

Cons

  • Large surface area — 80+ nodes; takes a workflow to fully use
  • Some sub-packs (Impact Subpack) need separate install
